ICS Service recommend that when cooling to operating temperatures of 6°C or below, glycol is used to protect your equipment from freeze damage. Glycol also provides additional protection to units sited outside, avoiding the risk of freezing and preventing costly repairs and production downtime.

ICS Service can offer you a wide range of anti-freeze products available from stock for next day delivery to protect all ranges of water chillers and cooling circuits. Having formulated three glycol products for general applications the majority of customers choose either industrial grade antifreeze – FlowCool MEG RED (Mono Ethylene), a general food & beverage grade antifreeze – FlowCool MPG BLUE (Mono Propylene) or our more recent range FlowCool Green this is a food safe biodegradable antifreeze made from a proprietary blend of refined vegetable extracts that are biodegradable and have a very low order of toxicity. Suitable for use in the food and beverage industry or for systems where low oral toxicity is preferred, ICS Green contains non-toxic (GRAS) multi-metal inhibitors to protect chillers and associated cooling systems against corrosion and scale, thus prolonging equipment life and thermal efficiency.

These products have been developed to suit all ICS Chillers and cooling products by containing inhibitors to reduce the effects of corrosion, scale and algae build-up – therefore allowing greater protection and heat transfer performance for you and your clients’ cooling circuit.

Glycol is available in three sizes – 25 litre, 205 litre and 1,000 litre drums for all products and can be dispatched to you on a next day basis anywhere in the UK.
